We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Project Manager to come and join our IT Team, based at our Head Office in beautiful Port Chalmers. You will report directly through to our Head of Digital and you will play a pivotal role in enabling change and improvements to the business to achieve our strategic goals, as well as being a key player in our technology transformation.
So, what will I be doing?
You will be responsible for leading the transformation of Port Otago’s IT Infrastructure and Applications suite, helping us deliver some exciting strategic projects; New Network, Security, Application Upgrades (and Application Exits), Sharepoint Online and drive our Cloud Transformation.
You will be required to manage the delivery of all aspects of these projects, working closely with vendors, and using industry-standard practices and methods to ensure key project elements of scope, cost, time, and quality are effectively managed across the agreed deliverables. You will be confident managing projects from initiation through to go live.
You will thrive on ‘getting things done’ carefully balancing good process with progress and working closely with business stakeholders to ensure their requirements are being met, and that risks and issues are being effectively managed.
Above all, you will take ownership of project outcomes, ensuring that each project is delivered successfully by being flexible with your approach, listening to stakeholders, and problem solving as you go – above all, working collaboratively across the business and internally to deliver quality project outcomes.
